I’m never one to shy away from a little paint so it helps in creating some pretty colorful pages. I pretty much paint everyday so sometimes layering on a little paint on my scrap pages just comes with the territory. I also get to try out a few things.
A lot of times I don’t even use a paint brush. Old gift cards are my favorite tools. You can pretty much put paint on in all sorts of ways. For this page I wanted to keep it springy and use fun oranges and yellows! I painted on a few blocks of color to make a background and then added lots of paper flowers and butterflies. It’s fun to just lay them on, everything goes so well together.
I cut the flower letters from a page I painted and used a lovely floral stencil on. Certain parts are perfect for unique paper cuts. I hope you all are enjoying a crafty spring! Have a great day!
