Next up I want to share the new Wanderlust collection from Studio Calico with you!! >> Wanderlust > I heat embossed the wood veneer number 8 with gold glitter zing and absolutely LOVE the result!! (I used the Versamark watermark stamp pad and the Zap heat gun & repeated the process twice to get a nice thick, even coat of the embossing.) I also cut apart the stitched frame and just used the "follow your dreams" piece as an embellishment, which I overlapped onto the large cork frame. QUICK TIPS >> You don't always have to use frames as frames! Think outside the box and use them as part of your layering like I did here. I LOVE how the cork frame adds in a different texture behind the paper and gives the page some more dimension.
