I have been scrapbooking for as many years as I can remember, although my process and design style have definitely evolved over time! As my children
grow and change I become consistently more and more passionate about recording our stories through photographs and words so that we have a visual
way to remember all of the moments that I know we will forget over time! My family loves to look back through the 100’s of pages I have created because
it instantly takes us all right back to those precious moments that are now long gone. It is amazing to me how much emotion and memory can be recalled
after seeing a scrapbook page from the past!
I’ve been blessed to work professionally in the scrapbooking industry for over 12 years now and am thankful for all of the friendships made, collaborations
entered and companies I have been able to work with. I have designed for a wide variety of manufacturers and magazines through the years and now have
my own line of products that I design and develop under the Crate Paper brand. Each new collection that we release is a piece of my heart and it is beyond
rewarding to see so many of my fellow scrapbookers create and record their own memories with it!
You can see a bit of my work in the slideshow above where you will notice that I have as much of a passion for the artsy side of it as I do for the recording
memories aspect. While I would never want to sacrifice the story for the design, I do enjoy trying new techniques and expressing myself creatively on my
scrapbook layouts. For me it is definitely about preserving our precious memories and stories, but in a beautiful and artistic way!
