The Christmas tree is always the first thing to go up at our house when we start decorating for the season! It has a way of getting us all into the holiday spirit and it sets the stage for the rest of the decor. We’ve had a white christmas tree the last few years, which we’ve LOVED but I couldn’t pass up the chance to try something new this year when Treetopia asked me to be on their 2015 Design Council. I chose the Addison Spruce because I was ready for something more traditional and I love that the branches look and feel real! We also switched up the location of our tree and set the new one up in our living room, which has a more formal feel, so I also changed out a lot of the ornaments and went with a whole different look! I decided on a mostly neutral color scheme with the main colors being white, gold and silver.
