Things are exciting over here right now as we have been a tad bit busy with the building of our new home. The great thing is that it’s just right around the corner from where we are currently renting, so it makes for an easy drive over there when I need to meet with subs, check on things or just want to pop in and get excited about the progress! Since Lizzy and Henry are the only ones not in school during the day, they are my little companions for this whole process. Lizzy calls it “going to the lot” and I can’t wait for the day when she realizes that it has turned into an actual house and then a home instead of just the “lot.” I get teary eyed just writing that because for me it is finally starting to settle in that it is really happening. Windows are now being installed and we made final decisions on all of our faucets… and for some reason those two things made it seem just a bit more real!
