Handmade cards definitely don’t go unnoticed in my book! When I receive something that is handmade I appreciate the time and effort that the giver has put into it. I don’t always have the time to make handmade cards (though I do strive to give handmade whenever possible). So when I do have some time, I like to do what Jessy has done here and create a bunch of cards at once. Having a stock pile of cute handmade cards already done makes it so much easier when the time comes that I need one (or when my kiddos need one). I keep all of mine in a drawer and my kids know that whenever they need a card, they are free to flip through and find one that suits the message or occasion. I always keep a variety of cards in there including birthday, thank you, holidays and generic cards that don’t have a specific theme or message. It warms my heart when I see them pulling one out (without me even prompting them) to share with someone that needs a little note of encouragement or someone that is sick etc. I love to see them learning at such […]
