Gold is the new black or the new silver or the new neutral or…. however you want to put it…. I think it is safe to say that GOLD is definitely IN and it’s here to STAY! When I first started loving gold a few years back, I began by slowly adding it into our home decor in small amounts. Baby steps! I also remember when we released my first collection with Crate Paper in January of 2013, I was definitely a little nervous that everyone would like the touches of gold. We put out those gold chunky glitter alphabet thickers and they quickly became a classic fave that I still see people using today. Fast forward 6 collections later and we now include those touches of gold on more than just one or two products in the line. In fact most of my products have some accents of it in one way or another! Yay!! Gold may have taken a while to really catch on but I am beyond happy that it has proven to be more than a quick-lived trend!
