I love a good quick and easy DIY and this one is no exception! Kim created the prettiest DIY watercolor journals (or notebooks) using her practice paintings, which are actually quite stunning in my opinion! These would definitely make great gifts and I plan to make a bunch to have on hand for when I need them! Now if only I can get my practice paintings to look half as good as hers, I’m all set!!! 🙂 Hi everyone! I wanted to share a few little sewn journals that I whipped up this week! I made these using a few little scrap watercolor cards that I had in my practice pile. I’ve learned to hang onto things because I always find a use for them. It may take weeks, but if it’s something I really like, I know the perfect project will come along…. like these little journals! I used a few of the Maggie Holmes collection papers as the backdrop for the journals. The neutral patterns where perfect for the bright pink colors of the watercolors.
