I love it when someone takes a few products and turns them into something entirely new and different! Don’t you! That’s what Jessy did for today’s post about creating your own embellishments. Her finished products is simply darling and would look great on a card, mini album or even in a shadow box as a cute DIY decor piece! Thanks for the inspiration Jessy! It’s really fun to create DIY embellishments. It doesn’t have to be complicated; something simple with a personal touch is just as wonderful. Just look around what you have in your stash, pick some things out and you can create your very own embellishments. This idea started with the Crate Paper Wood Veneer Hoops that I have in my stash. I was thinking it would be fun to enhance them by using the Shine collection. Those lovely bead tassels and standout stickers are just perfect. I started winding the green twine randomly onto the bigger hoop and tied a knot over the hoop. Just be sure that you wind them tightly. Once that is done, just add the bead tassel & standout.
