Black is such a popular “color” lately… it’s always been a classic and a staple but it seems that it is trending more recently, especially with the chalkboard paint craze and the black and white buffalo check pattern that is so popular right now! However, even with it being such a common color, most people don’t use it in large amounts on their scrapbook pages (except for Halloween when you see quite a bit of it.) I love that Kim isn’t afraid to use the unexpected on her projects and here she has used black in a BIG BOLD way! It really sets the stage for all of the white and her lighter colors to pop!! It’s also a fun way to try the chalkboard look on your layouts!! So cool! Thanks for the inspiration Kim! Here in Florida fall is slow to end and winter always creeps in late.
