Inspired by Brenda to try my hand at backlighting. She is so good at it and I just love the look that it creates. I pulled up the blinds on our biggest window in our family room and had Matthew stand on a chair right in front of it with his back to the window. It is so cool because the window was actually really dirty and the light just blows out the background so that it looks white. What do you think? Do you like this look? It is very contrasty with a different feel than I am used to. Maybe that is why I am not sure. Does his face seem too dark? It is definitely something I want to keep working on and practicing.
