Well, I think I can officially say that we have converted Amanda into a full blown scrapbooker!! This is her second mini album now and she even created it while on vacation! I’d say she’s hooked and I’m loving that she is because her creations are darling! Read below to see her adorable travel mini album that she created while in Palm Springs for Christmas!!
Hi Friends, Happy Tuesday!
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! Over the holiday my family and I spent a week in Palm Springs, California. We ditched the dreamy white snowy scene and opted in for some sun and relaxation. As much as I loved hanging out at the pool during the day, at night I enjoyed pulling out a few papers + embellishments to create a day by day mini album of our vacation.
I love using the Walgreens photo app to print my photos. It’s super convenient and made it super easy for printing on vacation. You can also print square photos right from your Instagram account too. The easy phone-to-store printing made it easy for me to print and have them ready for me to pick up within minutes of ordering.
Because I was limited to a few print sizes, I made my album 5×7. This allowed me to use both square 4×4 photos and 5×7 enlargements.
Since I was limited to the amount of supplies I could bring with me I used every paper including these packaging tops.
I knew I wouldn’t be able to complete the album on vacation, so as soon as I returned home I used my Silhouette Cameo to create the vellum overlay.
I think I could eat macaroons everyday…… and I just might have, thanks to Whole Foods being next to our resort.
We had such a fun vacation and my camera roll was full of photos at the end of our trip. I wanted to include all the images from our trip so at the end of the album I used a glassine bag to add any extra printed pictures. I just love that tiny little metal clip!!!
Thanks for letting me share with you today!!
