Hello there! We have such a darling project for you today from Amanda! She is so great at sending sweet notes and cards in the mail, just for fun! I love that she does this and want to try to do it more often as well. I think that anyone would love to receive a little sweet note in their mailbox and it doesn’t take that much time to do. These DIY patterned envelopes are the cutest thing ever and make sending/receiving happy mail even that much better! Read on to find out how to make your own cute lined envelopes!
Happy Tuesday friends! I have been having so much fun playing with all the papers and embellishments from the new BLOOM collection. It has me dreaming of spring and warm weather.
This year I am challenging myself to try to write more letters to friends and family. I love sending happy mail packages but not every day can I send a surprise package. If you’re like me, anything in the mail box that isn’t in bill form is pretty happy.
>>> SUPPLIES NEEDED >>>
- envelope template ( I unfolded an envelope )
- pattern paper
- double side adhesive
For a couple of my envelopes I decided to just make inside liners. I love the solid color with a pop of pattern paper. Such a fun surprise when the envelope is opened.
On the front side of my patterned envelope I added a label sticker to write an address.
Lastly, using white cardstock paper I cut out a few flat cards from an 8.5×11 piece of paper. Make sure to make your cards slightly smaller than your envelope. To finish off my card sets I stamped the top of the paper with the HELLO LOVELY stamp. The fun part is each stamp is separate, giving you the option to create a one or two word saying.
