Studio Calico Blog Hop

We are doing another blog hop at Studio Calico today to celebrate the fact that Countryside and State Fair are now in the shop!! I know that many of you have been waiting to get your hands on these products!! Well now you can stock up!! Yippeeee!

All of us design team members have created a layout to showcase some of the products….. Here is mine:

Nate skate blog hop

I cannot get enough of the State Fair Label Stickers and the Tags. For some reason those tags just always tell me to cut them into flags so I can use them to create banners! 🙂  I also used the Sideshow Paper, the DieCut Cream Ledger Paper, Step Right Up Paper, and the backside of the County Line Paper (for my background).

At first I had pulled out some of the pink products like the Cotton Candy Paper and the Pink Notions to create a layout of Emily but then the bright reds, blues and greens from these other products were just calling my name so I switched gears and made this layout about our little Nathan and his nickname – Nate Skate. I kept it pretty clean and simple so the photos could shine!

I know I didn't use any mists on this layout but I also have to give a shout out to the Mister Huey's mists in these two product lines because the colors are FAB!!! (I especially LOVE piglet, bonny blue and lemonade!!!) Seriously some of my faves now!! I have a feeling they will go fast so be sure to snag some of those if you share my passion for misting!! I think my bottles of piglet and lemonade are already running low because I have used them so much! haha!!!

As part of the blog hop we are all doing a giveaway on our blogs!!! Yay!!!! This is always the fun part for me — the fact that I get to share some of my favorite products with one of you!!

I am giving away the State Fair Label Stickers, the State Fair Tags and the State Fair Notions.

To enter the contest simply leave a comment here on this post and tell me something fun or interesting about yourself! I always love a chance to get to know my readers a little bit better! The contest will be closed on Monday, April 18th at which point I will draw a winner at random.

Now, on to the hopping part of the blog hop…… be sure to continue on to the next blog so you can see another fun layout and also enter to win some more Studio Calico goodies!! I am going to be hopping along with all of you so I can see what they all did!!

The next stop is: Nicole Harper's blog! Have fun and good luck!

You might find interesting: Before kids I was a Paraglider pilot, now four kids later (it happened as soon as I was pregnant with #1) I don’t feel comfortable taking any unnecessary risks. I love that I was so carefree and daring, once upon a time, but also cherish that I now have so much to loose.

    Something interesting….
The only thing I can think of is that I give myself 20 mins to do a chore so that when time’s up I stop doing it and it forces me to do stuff really quickly!
Not sure if that’s interesting but my co-workers and I were chatting about that earlier over coffee break.

Interesting…hmmm…that’s always a hard one (what is ordinary and boring is often intriguing to others though).
Well the first thing that comes to mind is that DH & I celebrated our 26th anniversary yesterday! 🙂 I realized that I can remember being 26 years old and thinking I was so grown up and mature (old) and now I’ve been married that long! And it dawned on me that many people these days never see 26 years with their spouse. I’m blessed beyond measure.

Hmmm, I’m not at all musical (I only play the radio!) but somehow I produced 4 children who are all incredible musicians. I blubbered like a baby at the last piano recital because I couldn’t believe that was my boy up there. Just a brag on my boy, he was the most advanced student out of 30 piano students. Bet you can’t tell I’m a proud mama, huh?

I have two teens with one in college. And I have to transition to going back to work in the next year or so. Love seeing all the inspiration on your blog. Thank you!

SO FUN! LOVE the LO! beautiful!
As for me–I love to write backwards for my notes in class or at meetings. I am a horrible speller and everything is given to us so quickly–so I write backwards to prevent anyone looking at my writing and saying “OH MY! She can’t spell.” I know that is weird….but it also makes everyone look at it and say “OH MY! What does that say!?” LOL!

Ironically, I married a man who loves the outdoors. And even more surprising: I became a Girl Scout leader for my daughter’s troop. (God help the children. 😉 )

Thanks for the unique tips contributed on this web site. I have realized that many insurance carriers offer consumers generous reductions if they prefer to insure several cars with them. A significant number of households possess several autos these days, particularly those with old teenage children still living at home, plus the savings in policies could soon increase. So it is a good idea to look for a bargain.

I have seen many useful factors on your site about desktops. However, I’ve the opinion that netbooks are still not nearly powerful sufficiently to be a good option if you usually do jobs that require a great deal of power, for instance video croping and editing. But for website surfing, microsoft word processing, and most other typical computer work they are just great, provided you can’t mind the tiny screen size. Many thanks sharing your thinking.

A few things i have observed in terms of laptop or computer memory is that there are specs such as SDRAM, DDR and so on, that must match the technical specs of the mother board. If the pc’s motherboard is kind of current while there are no computer OS issues, changing the memory space literally normally takes under 1 hour. It’s among the easiest laptop or computer upgrade processes one can envision. Thanks for sharing your ideas.

In my opinion that a property foreclosure can have a important effect on the applicant’s life. Foreclosures can have a Several to decade negative impact on a applicant’s credit report. A borrower who’s applied for a home loan or almost any loans for example, knows that the actual worse credit rating will be, the more tough it is to get a decent financial loan. In addition, it may possibly affect a borrower’s chance to find a decent place to lease or hire, if that results in being the alternative houses solution. Thanks for your blog post.

However, if you are getting a loan through a regular financier then you need to be prepared to have a co-signer ready to help you.
