Hello and happy Monday! Hope you are having a lovely day!! We have a beautiful new scrapbook page to share with you today from design team member, Ulli! The Willow Lane collection has lots of bright fun colors, but I love how Ulli created a very different look, by focusing on a big amount of black and white, paired with minimal colors for her layout. It just shows how you can take pieces from the collection and make it work for whatever look you are going for!! Read on for all of the details on making this fun page!
Hi crafty friends, Ulli here with you today and I want to show you my second layout with the gorgeous Willow Lane collection. 
My last Willow Lane layout here on Maggie’s blog was very colorful and it used really all of the colors from this fantastic new collection. When I worked on my second layout I had the idea to use only the colors pink and green in combination with black and white. I love to scrap in a limited color palette and so I searched first for some embellishments in these colors.
The pom pom frames are one of my favorites from the new amazing Willow Lane collection. Do you love them as much as I do? Especially the round one in blush with the flower border is so super cute. So I framed my black and white photo from our little 0711 crop with my crafty friend Christina in this pretty frame.
When I went through the papers I chose the black Frolic Patterned Paper with the white dots and I cut down a paper strip of 4 inch. I glued it on the top of my white 12×12 paper. I tore the border from the patterned paper a little bit with my fingers and sewed two times over it with my sewing machine. I love to use my sewing machine for layouts because I love the playful look of machine stitching on projects. Often I am a little bit too lazy to change the colors constantly and because of that I often use white thread. White matches always to all kind of colors.
I am so in love with the amazing Willow Lane Acrylic stamps and so I stamped the wonderful big flower from this stamp set under the border of my paper strip where I wanted to place my photo later. Then I glued the frame with the photo on this place and decorated the frame with the big chipboard flower and the flower from the ephemera pack in pink. I also added the green banner sticker under the frame and the “Some kind of wonderful” banner sticker with 3D foam squares above. Then I splattered some gold and black paint across my page. 
I adore the tea cup theme in the stickers and ephemera pieces from the Willow lane collection and they were perfect for my picture. When we scrap together we always drink a lot of coffee and other yummy drinks. The idea was to hang the two cups under my frame.
To hang the cups, I pierced two holes in my cradstock and then tied black bakers twine on the cups and ran the thread through the holes. They are not visible because I covered them under the frame. I used washi tape to fix the bakers twine onto the back of my page.
Next I glued the adorable green thread bow on my frame and added the initial letters from our names with the mini alphabet stickers in green and pink beside the photo on the flowers.
For the big title I mixed up the Cheerful and the Picnic Chipboard Letter Stickers. I only used pink letters from the Cheerful Letter Stickers because I love the mix with the gold alphabet stickers. For the journaling I made some lines with a ruler and wrote it with a thin black Sharpie pen down on my page. I extended my title a little bit with the mini alphabet stickers in green and pink and glued two from the folk art butterflies on my page. I glued them in the direction from the frame to create a relation to the photo.
To finish off my page I stamped the date with a roller date stamp on the paper border above and glued the “happy-happy” chipboard sticker above. I added some sequins in mint and pink on my layout. I also used the cute little puffy sticker bunny in green to decorate my page and I glued the clear sticker from the waterfall stickers “Hello, friend” under the frame with the picture.
