I have been using the Silhouette for quite some time now and find that I use it more than I ever imagined!! The fact that you can get new cut files each month, or even create your own by opening an image in the software and using the tracing function, makes it so versatile and means that I always have something fresh and new to cut and use on my projects! You are simply never stuck using the same shape over and over again and I love that about the Silhouette!!
Here are just a few of the many ways I have used the Silhouette Cameo in my scrapbooking and cardmaking. I hope that these get the ideas flowing!!
Used below to cut out the "love" word and layered it on top of the photo and other papers.
Used below with the light hold cutting mat and gold vellum to cut out the butterfly.
Used below to cut out the large snowflake from metallic adhesive paper.
Used below to cut out the large heart and the "together" banner.
Used the font/type tool in the Silhouette software to create and cut out this title piece below.
Used it with the love you cut files to create the heart cut out piece below.
