Scrapbooking Shares

Joy and I hosted the blog over at Studio Calico last week and wanted to share a couple of the layouts I did.

The first is for the challenge that we gave which was to create a page around the theme of gratitude and also to use at least 8 different patterned papers! You know I love mixing lots of different patterns so it was a fun one for me!

Here is my take on the challenge:

Quite a few of the Studio Calico gals joined in on the challenge so if you want to see their layouts you can go here. If you scroll down to the comments there are links to the images where you can see all of their layouts! lots of inspiration there especially if you are looking for ideas on using up those scraps and adding lots of patterned paper to your layouts!

I also created a tutorial on painting and misting. You can see the full post here with detailed instructions and photos.

This is the finished layout:

Happy Monday! It is a short work/school week which always means lots of excitement and anticipation for us and the kids! Hopefully I can get lots done in the next couple of days!

Oh my – I love your page!! 🙂 Your handwriting is just to die for! (not to mention the rad papers + vintage feel to everything…). Lovely!
