Scrapbook Layout: Sick Day

I made this scrapbook layout over the weekend just for fun! It is one of those photos that I took with my phone…. a random little moment and not a great photo, but one that I am definitely glad to have captured and documented!

This is little Nathan and the journaling talks about how much he loves learning….. so much that even on a day when he stayed home sick from school he still wanted to do things like play Scrabble, go through math flash cards and do "homework" papers. He brings home these extra "homework" papers from school all the time simply by choice because he just loves doing them! I see a lot of me in this little guy! I always loved school, and loved reading and learning. My favorite subjects were math and science. Even to this day I really enjoy playing games like Scrabble where I have to use my mind and I also love those magazines you can buy at the grocery store that are full of math and logic puzzles!

Supplies:

American Crafts – cardstock, patterned paper, tags, alphabets, tape, brads, embossing powder (used on the green star) and pen (slick writer)

Studio Calico – patterned paper, wood veneer stars, hot air balloon rub on, paint used on the other 2 stars (yellow and white)

Mist – Maya Road Blue Corn Metallic
