Have you ever received a gift that is wrapped so well you don’t want to even open it? I know that sometimes a beautifully wrapped gift is hard to tear into because I don’t want to ruin the wrapping paper!! Well, Amanda has solved that problem for us with her idea for using cute gift boxes instead of paper! This way you can enjoy the packaging and the gift inside without that fear of destroying her beautiful creation! Not only is the box pretty but it is also reusable and can be saved to use again!! I love that!
Hi Friends! Happy Thursday!
A couple days ago I took a quick trip to Ikea to grab a few frames and the typical Ikea needs. I just love Ikea, don’t you? Anyway, as I was strolling down the aisles I came across these cute pink boxes in the home organizing section. I just love boxes and especially gifting boxes that can be reusable in everyday life. And my birthday friend just happens to love pink!!!!
I am crushing on the color combo pink, black and gold. Using chalk paint I painted a cardstock piece of paper and layered it with a gold glitter frame. Using these kinds of elements is fun, and replaces a gift tag, although I do love a good tag!! I layered on top of that using embellishments from the stylebaord collection and adhered the layers to the box using the gold stripe paper tape for easy removal.
I inserted a little happy birthday message on the box label. It can be removed and relabeled after the gift has been opened.
And of course I had to finish the project off with my favorite heart stamp!!
