Pretty Peach Packaging

I’ve never met a pretty package that I didn’t like, especially when it’s made by Amanda! I just love the peach colored bag she used for this project and I’m also loving the DIY embellished clothespin she made by adding a wood veneer bow to the top of a clothespin that is half dipped in gold glitter! Such a fun idea to dress up a plain clip and make it really come to life and also unique to your package!!

Hi Friends, happy Thursday! There is just something so special about creating and gifting a pretty package. Sometimes it’s the smallest gift inside, but giving a gift that is well thought out can sometimes mean the most. Today I am so excited to share with you this simple gift I created using a reused bag and Maggie’s new Confetti collection.

The Confetti collection has so many fun papers to use for making pretty packages and birthday presents!

I am all about reusing supplies if they are still in great shape. I am reusing this bag from a previous gift I was given. Look at that peachy color, I just couldn’t throw it away!!

To start I began with a piece of the gold star vellum and a scrap piece of polka dot paper and cut two pendant flags. I then layered in a small doily in between them. To finish it off I added in a die cut gift tag from the cardstock shapes ephemera packet.

To keep the pieces together I used my sewing machine and stitched a straight line on the bottom of the tag.

To attach my paper gift tag to my bag I used a glittered clothespin and added one of the wood bows to the top. I just love how the bow completes the gift with its pop of teal color.

Thanks for letting me share with you today. I hope this inspires you to find someone special to gift a pretty package to!

Happy Thursday!
