Our Waffle Love Experience

The girls and I recently took advantage of the new waffle food truck craze that has hit our area. When the sweet girls at Waffle Love first invited me out, I was sad that I wouldn't be able to enjoy their delicious waffles because of my dietary restrictions. (I have been gluten & dairy free for about 15 years now.) But then we learned that they do offer gluten free waffles occasionally so we had to go try it out!

The boys were gone with their dad so it was girl's night out at Waffle Love and it did not disappoint!

I mean, you have to go, just to get a picture in front of this amazing truck!! I seriously can't believe how detailed and awesome the painting is!! Wow!

While we were waiting for our food we took advantage of the darling backdrop that the truck provides and snapped a bunch of pictures. As a photographer, I am definitely not one to pass up an opportunity for some cute photos of my kids!!

I sorta wish that Lizzy was dressed in a different shirt because she matched the truck so perfectly that she practically blends in! Haha! But it was spur of the moment so I will take it! And who can resist that excitement and her adorable top-knot bun!

All three of us got the gluten free waffle with bananas and strawberries. Then we sat in the back of the car and gobbled it up! It was perfect – so yummy and super filling! Just what we were hoping for!

If you follow Waffle Love on instagram @waffluvaz, you will see where they are going to be each week and they also tell which days they will have gluten free! I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!!

Photography Tips  >>  All of the photos were taken with my phone with edits done in the Afterlight App and then some additional edits in Photoshop. If you are looking for a great photography workshop that will help you improve your general photography skills (to use with a dSLR, point and shoot and/or your phone camera), check out the Finding Your Photo Style workshop I am teaching over at Big Picture Classes. These photos go right along with the tips and techniques I share in the workshop and are a good example of how you can use the lessons to improve your photography with any type of camera!
