Reveal day is always the best day! I can hardly stand keeping a secret and having to wait so long to share new collections with you all is seriously the worst! So, when the day finally comes each time, it’s like Christmas morning for me… only I’m the Santa Claus, which is awesome because giving is always better than receiving and I get the delight of sharing a new piece of my heart with each of you, via my products! Here we go…

This new collection is called SHINE and is inspired by finding the beauty in life’s everyday moments! Each of us has the opportunity to SHINE every single day and I believe that the best way we can do that is through the connections and memories we make with our loved ones. When we are truly happy, we SHINE from within and every day becomes not only worth celebrating but worth documenting!! The fun, whimsical icons were designed to add that same touch of happiness and SHINE to your projects as you celebrate & document your own fabulous memories.

The SHINE collection is bright, colorful and full of life! There’s a mix of beautiful feminine florals, plus lots of other everyday icons like hearts, cameras, typewriters and bows. We also included a fabulous infusion of bold geometric and trendy patterns. And of course, as always, there’s a vintage vibe too. Only this time we made those vintage touches a bit more fresh and modern using our bright color palette. I hope you love it as much as I do!

New Maggie Holmes Shine Collection 1

I shared some sneak peeks on Instagram of this dreamy photo shoot we did up in Utah a while back. The photos above showcase a bunch of the fabulous ephemera pieces blown up and then I created this DIY gallery wall by simply hanging them up with black washi tape. I love the look!

Next up are some photos of me setting up and working with my new products. And although it’s not my actual desk, we tried to recreate the style of my real space here at home by using things I have in my own studio… vintage typewriters, lots of cake plates and jars for storing my supplies and of course lots of white and definitely GOLD!

This is the first scrapbook page I made using SHINE. There are so many cute stickers and I’m especially loving the pops of bright yellow!!

Where to begin… I love it all and have a lot of favorites! Ok, it’s all my favorite! Is that possible? Let’s say it is! These glitter thicker titles and shapes go with everything and I also adore the cut out paper because you get so many pieces from just one sheet!

The wood veneer set also has a mix of stacked word phrases and other shapes that are super versatile! And then I wanted to show you how you can take some of these basics and make them totally layered, fabulous and unique by adding other stickers and chipboard pieces onto them!

There’s a great mix of alphabet stickers in SHINE. The green epoxy set works great for boy or girl or anything really! Then the geometric set is a fabulous neutral which can also be totally transformed using watercolors, mists etc. And then a smaller gold puffy alpha set, which I know I will be using on everything!

This is only a sample of the papers… there are lots more patterns and they all work so great together! You can see each and every single piece in this collection (front and back) on the Crate Paper blog today. I’d love to know your favorites!

A super duper favorite is this large GOLD chipboard alpha set. I may have screamed out loud with excitement when I saw these babies in real life! Be still my gold loving heart. It’s one of those things that you dream up and send away to be turned into an actual real product and when you see it happen in a way that not only meets but exceeds your expectations, you can’t help but be overwhelmed with the amazingness! And yes, they are BIG as in 4 inches tall… so great not only for scrapbooking and mini albums but for party banners and cake toppers too!

It’s no secret that the ephemera packs are like a staple paper crafting item for me. I mean, I just don’t know what I would do without them! This time we mixed in some awesome transparency/acrylic pieces that are super fun to layer with!

Another product from SHINE that I’m already in love with is this large roller phrase stamp. You get all the phrases shown here in one stamp! I could literally use this on every page I make!

Speaking of tools, we designed a very fun but usable craft die set that is co-branded with We R Memory Keepers and comes on this magnetic storage page inside a plastic zipper sleeve. I also thought it would be great to make the dies this beautiful mint green color instead of your basic silver, because who doesn’t love mint green anyway??

Next up are two more of my favorites… Do you see the favorite thing becoming a theme here? Yeah, I know and it’s all good because it wouldn’t be fair any other way! We brought back another set of tassels, only this time we made them even better by adding wood beads and gold glitter. I’m already scheming up the things I can do with these! And then those crepe paper delights. They just make me happy!

We still have a LOT more, including these gold glitter “basics” stickers. You can use these on every little thing your heart desires! I know I will!

And then of course the other staple item for me… the full art sticker sheet. It has a mix of everything SHINE, including so many of our whimsical and happy icons along with lots of basics too…  labels, tags, banner flags and word/phrase stickers.

Soon I will share each and every page from this mini album that I made using SHINE. It’s a bundle full of happiness, celebrating the little ones in my life that inspire me to do all of this in the first place!
