More Candid Moments

I can’t say enough how much I love the candid shots and how fun it is to capture the “in-between” moments… “in-between” the direction… “in-between” the poses, etc. It is a privilege for me to be there when families interact and do things as if I am not even there. I love to see the way they connect and what they do when I am not telling them what to do!

I love to hear from clients (as I did this past week) “This is one of my favorites. I had no idea you were even taking pictures at that time.” I love to be able to surprise my families with the shots that were unplanned and that end up meaning so much to them!

love the unplanned, unexpected shots! i recently took some shots of my neighbors family … and her husband was upset that i never said “say cheese”. lol! so when i took some shots the next week of her sister’s family … the mom later told me that she told the family to just keep smiling the entire time … because she knew i would just shoot away without saying anything! lol!

So you’re at work in Utah… too cold to go outside?? I hope you’re having fun. Anyway, I came to tell you that I just watched your family’s slideshow on Kristyn’s blog and your pictures are so beautiful! I’ll tell her what I told you, they are all of course great of your gorgeous family but I especially love the singles of your boys. Great personality coming through on those… Nathan just being happy little Nathan, Matthew being such the funny Matthew and Tyler being his laid back self. The shot of you and Emily is perfect. Brian in front of the door with the boys is so cute. But my absolute fave is the three boys making funny faces with you and Emmy in the background. I love it!! See you soon.
