My design team girls were also super excited because they have each been making projects with it already!! Sometimes a few new products are the perfect source of inspiration! It’s like a little boost of energy and kickstart to get into your craft room so you can work on something! This floral paper has my heart and I LOVE how Jessy cut it out to use on her page! It’s so pretty!!
Hello lovely friends! Today’s post is all about Maggie’s newest collection called Shine! I’ve mentioned it before, but can’t help say it again… this collection is just so beautiful! It can go with so many different themes. So many possibilities! And of course, I had to use all the pretties on my layout today!
My hubby & I will be celebrating our 10th year anniversary in November. With that in mind, I decided to I scrap a layout with our current look of the both of us so we can remember it for a long time to come.
Let me share with you my creative process…
I started by pasting the black & white patterned paper on the left side. Then, I used the gesso to paint it over the paper to give a subtle look & so that it does not contrast too much with the white cardstock on the right side. Once that was dried, I painted light yellow onto the white cardstock. Then I started to arrange the fussy-cut florals in the middle the papers. I adhered the black & gold glittered frame, followed by the typewriter and slowly added elements (stickers, ephemera) all around the frame. I also did a repeated stamping technique with the “Always & Forever” phrase at the top of the frame. And as always, I completed my layout with handwritten journaling.
