Inspired by Pinterest

Pinterest, oh Pinterest. What would we do without Pinterest? Pinterest has become such an amazing source of inspiration for all of us and I love being able to save so many ideas and beautiful things all in one place. It’s really the ideal solution for us creatives… no more pulling pages from magazines and attempting to keep a filing system at home of techniques we want to try, recipes we want to make or DIY projects we want to tackle. Today Jessy is sharing a layout she created using a quote that she found on Pinterest. Sometimes even a simple phrase or fabulous quote can inspire and jumpstart a whole page or mini album! I love that!!

I enjoy visiting Pinterest to pin a bunch of fun things! While doing so, I came across the quote below. I thought it would be great to use the quote on my layout. And instantly, I knew which photo to scrap too!

This was such a fun layout to create. My daughter told her dada that she wanted to shower her doll. And of course he said yes. She was so diligent in her task & she was making sure that her little doll was all clean and dry. And yes… she truly believed she could, so she did!

Let me share with you my creative process…

I started with the triangle patterned paper & decided I should also add the triangle b&w patterned paper at the top and bottom of the layout. Next I started to work with the alphabet stickers. Once that was done, I worked on the photo next. I placed it at the top of the triangle and layered some cardstock die-cut stickers at the left side of the photo. See the tag there? That’s my hidden journaling. Finally, I completed the layout with a row of cute banners at the top.

TIP >> To get the words in a straight line, I adhered the stickers onto a ruler (with half of each sticker hanging off the edge). This way you can line everything up perfectly. Once I was happy with the placement, I pressed the top part of the stickers to the paper. By slowly lifting the ruler away, the rest of the stickers will stick onto the paper.

Here are some close-ups…

Thank you so much for coming by! Happy crafting! Xoxo Jessy

Cute banners at the top! I like how the title is the focus, it really helps to tell the story in this case. Creative layout!
