I still love newborns… maggie holmes: phoenix newborn photographer

Photographing this precious little sweetheart really started making me baby hungry!! We did the shoot here at my home and so of course I took some in Emily Jane's nursery. Seeing her all sweet and cuddled up and looking so perfect and "newbornish" in there…. well, let's just say that Brian came home to grab something during the shoot and he came up and saw me gushing and smiling with glee as I was taking these pictures and he just said "oh, no… this is not good…"

Have a wonderful Easter tomorrow everyone! I am sure that as I struggle to get my 4 kiddos all looking perfect in their Sunday best tomorrow in time for church, I will probably be a little less baby hungry! 🙂

That’s an awesome chair you have in that nursery. I love the pattern of that fabric too.

SO cute! Did you make those paper puffballs? And out of curiosity, what kind of camera do you use? I’m starting to take photography much more seriously, and your site is an inspiration!

Thanks! They are a kit from Martha Stewart that I got at michaels crafts. It comes with all of the supplies and instructions. They are super easy!
I use a Nikon d200 and I have loved it from day one! No complaints!
Thanks again Joy! I appreciate it!

Hi! I emailed you right back last time… Not sure why you didn’t get it. I’m sorry! I couldn’t find your payment so it that means it didn’t go through. Registration is open right now for the next two classes if you are interested.
Let me know when you register and I can watch for it to make sure it goes through this time.
The chair is from Ikea and the blanket is from modernbabyco.com (formerly quilt-baby)
