Henry | 4 Months

I can’t believe that Henry is already 4 months old! Time flies faster and faster and I am trying to soak up every little minute with him!! I am loving each new day as he grows and does different things but I also can’t help but wish the time would pass more slowly. Normally we move our babies out of the bassinet in our room into the crib in their room by now but my heart won’t let me yet. I just don’t want to admit that he is moving past that tiny newborn stage yet. In fact just today I tried to put some of his 0-3 month p.j.’s on him and ended up having to cut the feet out of them so his little legs could straighten out! I am in denial! haha!!

I took this photo with my iPhone when he was just 6 weeks….

and had this to say about his little personality and stage of life…

6 weeks • angel baby • heart melter • loves the bath • loves his binkie • just moved up to size 0-3 month clothes • loves to snuggle • gets all the attention • adored & adorable

This is a new photo from the other day when he hit 4 months….

with these updates about our sweet and precious little guy….

4 months • happy as can be • growing like crazy • coos and tries to talk to us • super ticklish and giggles when we change his clothes • loves the bath • loves to be swaddled for bed and naps • sleeps through the night • likes his binkie but spits it out once he falls asleep and doesn’t use it much when he’s awake • is super social and always trying to make eye contact so he can smile at us • smiles with his whole body • is very expressive especially with his eyebrows when he is smiling and talking • rolls onto his side and is close to rolling all the way over • loves to suck on his fist • still sleeps in his bassinet in our room because my heart won’t let me move him to his crib yet • gets all the attention all day every day • is my daily reminder to slow down and soak up the present before it is gone • is the bringer of joy to all of our hearts every single day

I am loving seeing these two photos side by side…. it is so fun to see the changes in him! And while I already miss the little newborn in the first photo, we sure are enjoying every bit of this new smiley and social stage!!

Happy Monday!

I’ve gathered some of my favorite dolls & stuffed animals for boys… fun to use for room decor and for taking these pictures as they grow!

That newborn stage! You blink and it’s gone. My youngest is 15 and the eldest 20 (when did that happen?) but I still remember it.
    The 2 pictures are lovely.
I took a picture of my son with a very big Nijntje (Miffy) from 1 month to 2 years and framed the first 12 month in one big frame. I’m still very glad I did that.

Hi is such a cutie! Our last one slept in the room with us and I didn’t move him out until 9 months, I just couldn’t let go. He’s 18 months now and so big! How does that happen? I thought I was done at 6, but I’m not sure now… Blessings on you all!
