Guest Designer > Stefanie Ried

Hello! I’m super excited about today’s guest designer! It’s Stefanie Ried and she is not only sweet but one super talented lady!! I have been following her for a while now and just can’t get enough of her fresh and fun style! She uses a lot of white, which we all know I am a fan of, but she then layers on so many bright and vibrant colors in the most perfect way! Her pops of color make every project come to life! Seriously if you aren’t following her already, go check her out! When I look at her Instagram feed I keep scrolling and scrolling and scrolling and simply can’t get enough!!  Keep reading to find out a little more about Stefanie and see what she has created for us today!

Summer is our favourite season. When it’s warm outside and the sun is shining, we stay every minute in our garden and enjoy the life outside in the nature. My daughter loves to play in the baby pool and to eat ice cream. Most likely every day, haha. Suitable for that I have created an album with a few pictures of our sunny days the last few weeks. I think the Confetti Collection fits perfectly for a mini album full with sunshine, ice cream and fun!
I made an accordion mini album (6.5 x 5in). For the cover I absolutely wanted to use the patterned paper, Shindig. I like the black and white summer design. To make it a bit more colorful I applied brushstrokes of paint. It’s so easy and makes a beautiful effect. I used acrylic paints for this.
To close the album I’ve used white yarn and wrapped around the album.
I love confetti pockets and sunbeams, so I made a pocket filled with little words, sewing yarn and some glitter. First I sewed every single pocket or better say – sunbeam and then filled each section with different things.
On this page I painted an ice cream with acrylic colors on white cardstock. I love the effect with the gold foiled die cut layered on top.
For the last page I made an insert pocket, which I can fill with more photos of our summer.
Here are a couple more images of the entire accordion album.

Thank you Stefanie for sharing your beautiful talents with us today! If you’d like to see more of Stefanie’s work you can find her here >> blog / instagram
