My mom and sister came to visit this last week! It was so great to see them and we had a ton of fun.
I took them to some fun places that they had never been – Ikea, Costco Home, the Potato Barn (an awesome furniture store). We also went to the Cheesecake Factory a couple of times – of course!
We spent a lot of time here at my house – just hanging out, having fun with the boys. We went swimming at my neighborhood pool one day.
And of course my mom was a busy bee – helping me with my house. I had been saving a couple of projects – waiting for her to come down and help me. I have really high ceilings in my family room and we made curtains to go in there. We rented a ladder from Home Depot and I hung the rods while she did the sewing! (My hubby was in Utah at his neice’s wedding, or he would have been the one on that ladder! lol) It was definitely a trial of my patience to get those curtain brackets up but it finally came together and I love how they turned out! It makes the room feel so much more put together! Thanks for your help mom!!
We also picked out some pictures to hang around my house and I put my pulls on my kitchen cabinets. I am loving those too!
Little Nathan got sick again with ear infections and Brookie just took care of him the whole time! She loves him so much and hardly put him down while she was here! The morning after they left I think he was wondering where his Brookie was cause he wanted to be spoiled still!
It was just great to have them here! I have been wanting them to come out for so long! It has been so much fun moving into a new house and being here in Arizona but I miss my family so much! I miss being able to just meet them at Target for an hour or somewhere for lunch!
