Good Things > New Scrapbook Layout

Hello there! We have a lovely new scrapbook layout from Kim to share with you today! She is not only the master at watercolors, but she is amazing at using florals on boy pages! I just love that she isn’t afraid of adding flowers, hearts and even the color pink to the boy layouts she makes! It really shows you that anything goes and when you are creating like this, it’s ok to add things you love, even if it’s flowers! After all, you are the one exercising your artistic talents and creativity, so don’t be afraid to let it shine and let your voice come through, no matter what!!

Hi everyone, Kim here to share a layout with you guys using some of the fun confetti products.  I love incorporating just a little bit of me in my layouts and more often than not it’s watercolor or some painting techniques that I’m exploring.  It allows me to have fun with the page and create something new and interesting each time.

For this page I hand painted a little area of flowers in the center of my page and began to layer different stickers and embellishments around my photo.  I usually keep it pretty simple if I’m adding any watercolor or artsy techniques so the page isn’t too overwhelming.  When you add your own little touches you create something very personal that you can look back on in the future and smile about.  Try a little doodle or watercolor…. even in small amounts it can make a page really special!
