Father’s Day Layout

Happy June Friends! I know I say it ALL the time but I can’t believe how fast time flies! Really, can we all agree that it is crazy to already be saying it is JUNE?? Yes, crazy! Ok, now moving on, June is a fabulous month! The kids are out of school here which means Summer is in full swing already! Let the fun and endless days of swimming and playing begin! June is also the month of Father’s Day, which means we get to focus on fathers and celebrate them! Jessy has created such a fabulous layout for Father’s Day using the Confetti collection and I love how she has taken the products and used them to create a very masculine page! I also LOVE how she used the Silhouette Cameo to create this awesome custom background and base for her layout! So inspiring! Read on to find out exactly how to create this awesome page!

Father’s Day is just around corner! It’s a perfect time to honor that special man in our lives. And for that, I chose to honor my husband, the father of our daughter. He is such a great dada (that’s what my darling daughter calls him). She absolutely adores him!

Today, I am sharing with you a masculine layout that I have created with the Maggie Holmes Confetti collection. I absolutely love that I can mix + match so many color combos in this collection. It is absolutely perfect for any occasion or theme too!

First, I cut the number 1 out of white cardstock with my Silhouette Cameo. I planned my layout ahead of time so I knew where to cut out the number and I cut it toward the left side of the page.

Then, I adhered a piece of vellum to the back of the page behind the number. I arranged the letter stickers to spell ‘o-n-e’ & a few symbols also from the gold alpha to fill up the negative space.

Lastly, I trimmed the corners of the cardstock paper & layered a piece of patterned paper to the back of the vellum. Love how it turned out!

Here is the completed image of my layout…

What I did to the rest of my layout was to arrange the photo next to number 1 and also adhered the ephemera, alpha & chipboard stickers all around. As you can see, I also used these colors: gold + black +white. Choosing specific colors ahead of time really helps me to speed up the creative process too.

Once again, thank you so much for letting me share today! Hope you will have a good crafting session today and be inspired by my scrapbook page! Xoxo Jessy

Happy Tuesday!
