It’s such a wonderful time of year! I love that we have a holiday dedicated to gratitude and the increased reminder to celebrate all that we are thankful for and reflect on the many blessings in our lives! Stephanie is so great at getting her kids involved in her Thanksgiving and gratitude related projects and she always inspires me to do more of this type of thing with our children! Today she is showing us how to create a DIY gold foil Thanksgiving banner and along with that a darling banner for writing things you are thankful for! It’s so cute and I love that it is easy too!!
Hi everyone! Stephanie here with you today to share a fun project that my family and I have been working on this month. Every year, we always do some type of “thankful” project – mini albums, lists, books, etc.
This year, I couldn’t resist using the large gold Shine letters to create a THANKFUL banner. They are the perfect size for spelling out sentiments and I love how the gold color matches with our holiday decor!
My kids were jumping up and down to help create this project, so I cut apart my favorite 12×12 Shine paper and had my kids color the frames from the paper. Each of these frames then was used as a place for us to write what we are thankful for this year.
I love that my kids help to make this project unique and all ours. Their artwork is always the perfect touch to any of our decor!
Over the month, the little frames have been filled in with lists, pictures, drawings and more! We also printed off a few Instax photos of our family and friends and included them here in the banner since we are so grateful for each one of them.
A project like this is so simple and so easy to make, and anything that incorporates my kids and being thankful is a plus in my book!
Thanks so much for joining me today! There’s still plenty of time to create a “GIVE THANKS” banner for your Thanksgiving get together! Happy creating!
