DIY Painted Egg Carton Packaging

Hello! I love a good painting project and this one from Amanda is no exception!! She shows us how to paint an egg carton and transform it into the cutest packaging you have ever seen! Plus it’s such an easy project! This would definitely be a craft that my kids would enjoy! Time to start saving those empty egg cartons so we can make some pretty painted packages!!

Hi Friends, I am so excited to be back sharing with you today. I am just loving Maggie’s new confetti line. With Easter just a few days away, I thought I would share a fun and easy project to create for your Easter weekend. How fun would this be to give as a hostess gift?

In case you didn’t know by now, I am a big lover of paint! Using a old egg carton and latex paint, I painted the front and back to create a colored egg carton… which is now transformed into a cute package!

While the egg carton dried, I used my sewing machine to ruffle a strip of crepe paper. Once the carton was completely dry, I cut the strip into small pieces and hot glued them to the top of the carton.

Using the chipboard flowers from the Confetti line, I layered them together and then glued them to the top of the egg carton as well. eggflowers

To finish off the package, I tied a cute tag to the top using a simple natural string. I just love using fun and unique boxes to create pretty packages!

Wishing you all a very Happy Easter!!

Happy Thursday!
