Amanda has the CUTEST project to share with us today! She is showing us how to make your own custom phone case using patterned paper and a clear case! I am absolutely in love with this idea and now I want to get a clear case so I can make my own custom phone case! In fact I think I want to make a new one every week with different papers!! So fun!!
Hi Friends, happy Thursday! A few weeks ago I got the new iphone 6. Sadly my old phone had been dropped while painting and the screen was shattered. I have been looking for a new phone case and of course the one that I fell in love with is sold out until the end of October. I don’t know about you, but I am super picky about phone cases. After going a week without a case I finally broke down and bought a clear case from Target.
Using my favorite Styleboard paper, I am excited to share with you today a fun way to add patterned paper to a clear phone case!
To start, I placed the clear case on top of the patterned paper. I love the pinks and greens in this floral paper, so I made sure I was able to get those colors to fit inside the case. Using a pencil I traced the case onto the paper and cut it out.
After I cut the paper case template out, I placed the paper inside the clear case. When cutting, I made sure to leave a little extra on the sides so it overlapped to go around the sides of the case.
I just love how this project turned out and I’m so excited to finally have a cute phone case again!!!
