Darling Bow Stamped Gift Bags

Hello! Hope you are having a great week! Today we have a darling DIY packaging tutorial for you from design team member Amanda Rydell! I’m a big fan of any project where you can take some supplies and tools that you have on hand and create something customized! You can take this concept and make a whole bunch of gift bags at once to have on hand! Read on to find out how to make these cute DIY stamped gift bags.

I am a big fan of making pretty packages, but a bigger fan of surprising my friends and loved ones with some happy mail in their mailbox.

If you haven’t seen the new bow stamps from Maggie’s BLOOM collection, you’re missing out. They are A-mazing and probably one of my favorites from the collection…. well along with everything else.

Today I thought I would share with you a quick and easy way to fancy up a canvas bag using the bow stamps. You can also apply this method to a paper bag!!!

1. Canvas bags

2. Bow stamps

3. Stamp ink

I always like to start at the bottom of my bag when stamping a pattern.

For this pattern I started off with three bows . The next row I stamped two bows in the middle of my first row. Continue this pattern all the way to the top. You will alternate 3 bows and 2 bows.

Once you have your bag all stamped, you can decorate it with pretty papers or leave it just as is. I decided to add a few paper patterns to add some other textures and colors.

To hold my papers together I used a gold paper clip and added a mint colored ribbon bow to the top.

It’s a fun and easy project that will take you less then 30 minutes. And your recipient will feel so loved when they recive your personalized gift!

Happy Wednesday Friends!
