Hello! Friday is always a great day because it means the weekend is near! Don’t you just love having some time off from school/work and the chance to spend time with the family? I love it! Today I have another fabulous guest designer for you! Patricia Roebuck has a beautiful scrapbook page for us and shows us how easy it is to combine products from multiple collections. My lines are not intentionally designed to work together but I find that they do easily mix well! I think it is because they are all eclectic with a mix of lots of colors and everyday elements! When you look at each collection as a whole and all together, they don’t directly “match” each other. BUT when you start pulling separate elements out, especially pieces that are gold or black and white, you will find that many things are universal and will work with so many different products and themes!!
This is a proud Momma layout documenting my daughter’s desire to take piano lessons and following through with them. I edited the photo using Rad Lab actions in Lightroom to give it a vintage feel and printed it at 3.21 x 2.063. The mix of Confetti, Flea Market, and Open Book worked so well together to create this bold, but soft layout.
After adhering the pieces of Confetti patterned paper to the left and right side of the white cardstock, I added random circles stitching in white, then colored over them with a water pen and paint. The focus was on documenting, so journaling was added to the Project Life card on the right using my computer and printer, then embellishments from Open Book finished off this layout with details that complimented my daughter at the piano.
I also created a little video so you can see how my page came together and more details on what I did! See below!! Thank you so much for having me! I enjoyed capturing this memory with the gorgeous products by Maggie Holmes.
