I am super excited about my newest collection, Confetti, and have lots of fun projects to share with you using it!! This was my largest release to date and we introduced so many fun new products, including all of the party themed goodies!! My design team and I are working hard to create inspiring layouts, crafts and party ideas that we will be sharing with you in the coming weeks here on the blog!!
First up I have a layout to share today that features some of my favorite things from the new product line! The title of the collection – Confetti – might be confusing because it is a party word, and yes there are a lot of party themed products… BUT the collection is not geared solely toward party projects. Rather, I like to call it an everyday collection with some party mixed in. There are a ton of icons and products that work well for scrapbooking your everyday photos and just celebrating life in general. You will also see lots of florals and spring elements that are great for card making and other DIY home decor projects too!
This scrapbook page is a great example of how you can use the collection to celebrate one of life’s moments that is not party related. This is a photo of Emily that I took of her on the day that she lost her first tooth! She was so excited and happy about this milestone and we wanted to document the moment, including her darling new smile!! The way her face lights up here says it all right??
I used the chipboard sticker that says “celebrate” and then placed another sticker that says “these moments” right underneath it to create my title. Now it’s easy to see how this sticker could be used in so many different ways and to celebrate so many different things! I also used the chipboard stickers that spell “LOVELY” just to add another descriptive title to my page.
A few of my favorites from the collection include the florals that you will see scattered throughout the different embellishments and products. This cluster here was created using the large chipboard floral sticker and some leaves that I die cut using my new floral and leaves craft die set. Using the Evolution Advanced + the new motor attachment (that I can’t live without now) I cut out leaves from different papers such as old book paper, cardstock, patterned paper and glitter paper. What I love about this new craft die is that you can create so many different variations of florals + leaves!!
Then to finish off the page I added some embellishments from the hardware ephemera product.
