BLOOM >> New Collection for Crate Paper!

I’m super excited to announce and reveal my newest collection for Crate Paper today!

Header_BLOOM_Main_title

It’s always so hard keeping things under wraps because once I start seeing the products come in, I want so badly to show you guys!! I’ve almost accidentally shared some #onMaggiesdesk shots a few times while I was working with it because I just couldn’t wait, and the anticipation kills me!! But alas, it is finally time and I get to share it all with you today!! Introducing BLOOM….

Maggie Holmes Crate Paper Bloom CHA 2016-1 copyBLOOM_chipboard

BLOOM was inspired by my undying love of flowers (especially roses) and the sweet memories I have of being in my grandmother’s beautiful backyard garden. I think about her and those memories often and wish I could magically be back there with her somehow. My mom tells me all the time how much I remind her of my grandma and how similar we are. I can’t help but think of how amazing it would be to spend a day there with her now, as an adult, sharing those experiences but in a different way, with new conversation, refreshed insight and a grown-up perspective. I have so much I’d love to ask her and learn from her…. someday I will get to be with her again but for now I am grateful I have these memories to hold on to. I am beyond pleased with how this collection turned out, in light of the beautiful lady, Elsie, that sparked my love of flowers all those years ago.

You’ll find that much of the design in my new collection translates directly from this inspiration, including 6 different floral patterned papers, a stunning gold foil floral on vellum, and a large variety of colorful flowers, leaves and floral accents in the ephemera, chipboard and sticker packs! This peachy pink and yellow large floral has a whole big chunk of my heart! I’d wallpaper a whole room with it if I could! Naturally we paired it with a classic black and white gingham because let’s face it, gingham is the new neutral and one can never get enough! (Also keep your eye out for a few other gingham / buffalo check papers in the line! I couldn’t resist including this always-in-style print in a few different variations!)

Not only is BLOOM perfect for Spring, but it’s also designed to coordinate with your everyday memory keeping, gift giving, crafting and more. I wanted to fill it with things you can use over and over again… the icons and designs that I can never get enough of! The collection is filled with lovely feminine artwork, alongside cute trendy basics such as bows, hearts, labels and tags.

New embellishments include 3 dimensional paper flowers (pictured above), layered fringe hearts, a washi tape book, silicone shapes, mini leather tassels, clear stickers and more! And of course and I can’t create a collection without GOLD – lots of it!! There’s gold foil and the prettiest gold glitter on many of the products. You will especially love the rich finish of the gold foil washi strips! I love how those turned out!

We have a variety of stickers in different materials that can be used separately or together… cardstock stickers, chipboard stickers, puffy stickers, clear stickers, and two new alphabet stickers! Again lots of great basics but also lots of color and cute Spring icons like the sweet gingham deer, butterflies and birds!

The ephemera packs will always be a fave because they work so well for every project I could ever imagine. This set has a LOT of flowers and leaves, of course! How could it be any other way? I’m also loving the super fine gold glitter we used this time. It’s so pretty!

BLOOM_ephemera

Delights are an essential for me when I’m making a card or wrapping a gift! They are dimensional, layered and ready to go!

Maggie Holmes Crate Paper Bloom CHA 2016-4

We’ve added two stamping products to the BLOOM line up… a clear stamp set (how cute are these hand drawn bows?!!!) and a self-inking stamp that we designed to be one of those basics that you can (and want to) use on every single thing you create!!

BLOOM_Stamps

Lastly we have PAPER! So many favorites this time around, I just couldn’t pick out a few! I photographed all 6 of the floral patterns together so you can see the wide variety there and then the 4 cute ginghams together because I couldn’t resist. After that I’m showing snippets of them all in no certain order or groupings. Remember you can see each and every paper in full detail on the Crate Paper blog! There’s a mix of girlie and pretty, cute icons, graphic and colorful, neutrals to build on and a handful that mix well with the collection but can also be pulled out to create boy layouts with (because yes I do have 4 boys!!).

I am obsessed with them! It’s one of my favorite parts of creating the collection because it’s like an empty puzzle where you get to place a whole bunch of cute things! I used it as an opportunity to include some different takes on the floral patterns, giving you some fresh new variations that aren’t found anywhere else in the line. That large floral in the minty green version below has another chunk of my heart too!

Maggie Holmes Crate Paper Bloom CHA 2016-28

This one got filled with vintage inspired ephemera because I can never have enough of these kinds of pieces to cut up and layer with!

Maggie Holmes Crate Paper Bloom CHA 2016-27

I’m already loving creating with the new BLOOM collection soooo much! Here are a couple of peeks at some things I’ve made… I will share more photos and details in future posts! Also, see that marble background behind my mini album below… it’s a paper from the line! I’m super in love with marble right now and we thought it would be a fun different neutral to keep things fresh! It’s such a nice contrast to the warm vintage book papers that I also love and all the bright colors in the collection!

My experience working for Consumer Genius was extremely disappointing. Although I completed all my job responsibilities and worked hard, I haven’t received my salary for four months. Despite trying to contact the company several times, I haven’t received a response or any explanation for the delay. It’s not only unethical but also illegal to withhold employees’ salaries. This conduct reflects poorly on the company’s professionalism and respect towards their workforce. I strongly advise anyone against working for this company or considering any business dealings until they show a genuine commitment to treating their employees with respect and paying their salaries on time.

I have noticed that over the course of constructing a relationship with real estate proprietors, you’ll be able to get them to understand that, in every single real estate deal, a fee is paid. In the end, FSBO sellers will not “save” the commission payment. Rather, they try to earn the commission by means of doing a great agent’s job. In accomplishing this, they invest their money as well as time to conduct, as best they will, the duties of an broker. Those responsibilities include revealing the home by means of marketing, presenting the home to willing buyers, building a sense of buyer emergency in order to prompt an offer, preparing home inspections, controlling qualification checks with the loan provider, supervising maintenance, and aiding the closing of the deal.

In line with my observation, after a the foreclosure home is available at a bidding, it is common with the borrower in order to still have some sort ofthat remaining unpaid debt on the financial loan. There are many creditors who try to have all fees and liens cleared by the up coming buyer. However, depending on specific programs, polices, and state regulations there may be a few loans which are not easily handled through the transfer of financial loans. Therefore, the duty still rests on the debtor that has received his or her property in foreclosure process. Thanks for sharing your ideas on this blog site.
