Hello there! Hope you had a great weekend! How is it already Wednesday? The weeks are flying by right now as I have lots of projects to do and never enough time to get them all done! About now I’m looking forward to the lazy days of Summer where we have less on our t0 do lists and more time to just hang out and enjoy the kids and time together!
Today we have a cute new scrapbook layout from design team member Jessy to inspire you! She’s using butterflies in a big way and it turned out so pretty! I love the concept of taking one shape or icon and repeating it many times on your project or page. It makes a big statement, but in a way that still feels very refined and focused! Thanks for the beautiful inspiration Jessy!
I have always enjoyed using butterflies on my projects. Adding butterflies are not only pretty but they give a peaceful & subtle feel to my layout.
I decided to play with 2 different sizes (big & small) this time, where I use butterfly dies and run them over onto patterned papers into a die-cut machine. I adhered the butterflies onto a white cardstock where I have created the background with some gelatos. A couple of butterflies I layered onto each other. Adding some fun glittered stickers & chipboard onto the middle of each butterfly gives fun details to the layout too. Aren’t they pretty? Lastly, I completed the layout with a wood veneer title and some stickers.
Thank you for stopping by! Have a great day! Xoxo Jessy
Happy Wednesday Friends!
