Be Crafty Arizona

Our second Be Crafty Arizona event was an absolute blast!! We have tons of photos to share with you and lots of details so I am going to break it up into more than one post. I just can’t leave anything out!!

We had the event at The DenMar Estate in Mesa, Arizona again…. also known as The Gather Estate. The space is so open and big and simply perfect for our needs! We showed up with two car loads full of decorations and props and went to town making it crafty, colorful and fun!! If you follow us on instagram, you know that Amanda and I have both been working, creating and prepping for this event for months! We would talk, text and face time almost daily, brainstorming and coming up with fun (and some crazy) ideas! It was so fun to finally be together and see everything we have been working on and dreaming up come to life!!

One of my favorite things was the display we made for above the vintage yellow couch. We were making these fabric wrapped hoops with pom pons and birds as one of the crafts so we decided to create the same thing but in giant size for this wall! Let’s just say I made pom pons until my hands were numb and you couldn’t see my floor through the yarn clippings!! After Amanda got there and I decided we needed to make even more pom poms the night before the event, my husband may have thought I was actually crazy!!

Giant Pom Poms and Hoops

The entry table is always fun to decorate because it’s the first thing the ladies see when coming in to the workshop. We had their name tags, adorned with pom poms of course, laying out ready for them to find theirs and start mingling. We added some decorations made from my new Confetti line, some felt flowers from Cole of the Felt Flower Shop and a print from Yellow Bungalow shop to complete the look!

Another favorite decoration were the giant balloons from Shop Sweet Lulu! Not only did they add a fabulous pop of color to the work area but they were the best props for taking pictures with after! Let’s just say we may have spent as much time taking fun photos as we did actually crafting!! What do you expect when you get a bunch of creative girls together and add in some giant balloons!!

All of our pictures were taken by our event photographer Julianne Marie Photography. Not only is she an amazing photographer but she is absolutely the sweetest thing ever! She really makes you feel so comfortable and at ease in front of the camera! Thank you Julianne for taking such lovely photos of our fun day!!

Many more photos and lots more details about the rest of the event, including the treat table and the supply area coming in the next post!! Can’t wait to share more!!

Happy Friday!
