Be Crafty Arizona Workshop Part 2

Ready for part 2 of our Be Crafty Arizona Workshop recap? I am dying to share more of these photos with you!!

As I mentioned in the first workshop recap post, the venue was amazing! They have a ton of fabulous furniture pieces already there on site and some darling props as well! Amanda and I had already been busy working on our decorations so when we got there and combined what we brought with what the venue had, the magic began!!

This was the entry table that you first saw when you walked in. It was the perfect spot for the custom name tags I made for each attendee using my bow craft die and wool felt from Benzie Design.

The dessert and drink table turned out to be a favorite of everyone’s!!! Amanda made the giant gold paper fans and then we hung the mint green faux deer head from White Faux Taxidermy in the center. And of course the beautiful custom felt floral crown made by Cole with the Felt Flower Shop was the icing on the cake!!

We had such a fun time styling the tables that held all of the supplies for the crafts we taught! I truly LOVE the styling side of things and could spend hours and hours arranging all the lovely things and creating pretty little vignettes!! I am not sure what it is about styling but I do love it so! How yummy is all of this pretty yarn? There is something about a basket full of yarn that makes me happy!

This was the main supply table that sat in the center of the room. We taught our projects from here and then the attendees were able to come up and grab the supplies they needed throughout the workshop!

Studio Calico sent some fun supplies from their craft essentials shop for the attendees to use on their projects and we displayed them in a vintage muffin tin. We also used a vintage type drawer to display and organize all of the die cut wool felt pieces that were used to make the bows. I seriously can’t get enough of these bows! The bow craft die works really well with wool felt and you can use them on so many different projects!

The dream catcher project was definitely a big hit! The attendees were super creative and I loved seeing all of the different things they did with the yarn, bows, beads and feathers! I don’t think that any of them turned out exactly the same and I love that!

We decorated each of the tables with vintage books, succulents, paper flags and tiny deer figurines!

Decorating with succulents

My favorite decoration has to be the giant dream catchers that Amanda and I made! They were the perfect addition to the wall above the white vintage couch and provided such a great backdrop for photos! Amanda made these amazing huge yarn tassels and then I made the dream catchers and attached them and it was pure joy to see it all come together!! I just can’t get enough of these!!!

I love the colors of yarn you used. Do you remember the color it was called or the brand of it?
