hey there everyone!

it’s monday again!

another weekend over – they go so quickly! there never seems to be enough time to just relax and be together – especially with brian before the week starts again and he is back to work. i know it is just the cycle and how life is, but sometimes it would be nice to be able to push the pause button – make time stop so we can relax a little longer, be together a little longer before it starts all over again….
things are quiet around here right now – tyler and matthew are both at school, nathan and emmy jane are both sleeping. i have been using the time to get some cleaning done and now i am taking a little break before i finish.

then we are off to the eye dr. this afternoon to check on tyler’s progress. we had him wear the patch so much this summer – 6 to 8 hours a day! he did really well – not a lot of complaining, considering it was on pretty much all day every day! we figure that it must mean that he is seeing better out of his left eye. otherwise he would still be complaining every second! hopefully our logic is right!! now that he is in school every day all day he can only wear the patch for a few hours after he gets home, which is nowhere near what we were doing during the summer. we are praying for lots of progress and that the hard work during the summer paid off. we don’t want to see his progress regress now that he is not able to wear it as much each day. — just our thoughts and things we are planning to talk to the dr. about today.

emily is getting a little chubbier. she seems to be eating more often the last few days – maybe going through a little growth spurt. we are all just head-over-heels in love with her. i get her all dressed up in her cute little outfits every day – with a matching bow – even though we rarely go anywhere (other than to take the boys to and from school!) she is starting to have longer periods of awake time and she has been more fussy during the evenings. i think that they just go through a stage of being more awake but they don’t quite know what to do, other than to fuss and cry. she loves to be held – especially by me. how is it that babies just instinctly know their moms? i treasure it though – love the fact that i can usually hold her just so – in just the right way to get her to stop crying and go to sleep. i love the fact that she just melts into my arms and cuddles so close to me almost as if she doesn’t want to be separated yet. so so precious

i haven’t had a chance to comment on all of the new products that making memories just released at cha. i have to say that they truly never cease to amaze me. i absolutely love the noteworthy line – everything about it is just fabulous! and the holiday lines are both gorgeous! i had a chance to create a lot of fun projects with both of these product lines for the the new making memories christmas idea book – “a season of joy”! and then the halloween line. i am not usually a big fan of themed products but i have to say that i seriously love everything about these halloween products! they are so much fun and so current and up-to-date! i created this layout a couple of months ago with a mixture of all the products. there was so much that i wanted to use but i couldn’t fit it all on one layout so i am just waiting until i have more halloween photos from this year! you can see all of these new products here on the making memories blog.

and finally, i will share a photo of emily and tyler that melts my heart. it is so fun to see how much the boys adore her! they just can’t get enough of her – always wanting to hold her, feed her, kiss her, hug her…..
