A Pretty Package For You

One of my favorite new products is this gift wrap book! I am always in search of really cute on-trend wrapping paper, which can be next to impossible to find! I mean, it’s super hard to find gift wrap that is not cheesy right!?! We picked our most favorite patterns from the Willow Lane collection and combined them into a book of wrapping paper and I have to say, I’m pretty obsessed with it! This is one product that makes my heart happy every time I use it!! Today design team member, Ulli is showing us how to make the cutest little packages you have ever seen using the gift wrap book and a few extra embellishments from Willow Lane!

Hi friends, Ulli here with you today and I’m so excited to share my first gift wrapping project with you, using the amazing new Willow Lane Gift Wrap Book! This product is brand new and it includes 12 beautiful gift wrap sheets in the designs from the Willow Lane patterned papers and 12 coordinating tags with the cute Willow Lane art (unicorn, swan, houses and some florals) to wrap your presents for your loved ones.

I love this idea from Maggie to release this new product. I have often wanted to wrap gifts in the normal 12×12 patterned papers, but it was difficult because the papers are so thick and bulky when I used them. Now we have papers that are in the perfect gift wrap thickness, and you can cover your gifts with them so easy! The best thing is that every single little item from this set and the whole collection matches perfectly together!

For my two little presents I used the gift wrap sheets with the pattern in green and the one with the small houses. I used a little bit of lace and different ribbons and cords in colors from the pretty Willow Lane collection. The mustard yelow and some pastel colored ribbons in blue and pink match perfectly with these cute papers.

To finish off your adorable little presents you can use some of the Willow Lane embellishments (Stickers, Sequin Flowers, Thread Bows…) to decorate the tags and the packaging.For decoarting the little green gift I used a round tag in the soft lavender color with the wonderful folk art flowers. I adore the folk art flowers in this collection so much! I glued the lace on the gift and added the coral colored string on it. I fixed the tag with this cord and made a big bow with the pink satin ribbon on the top. Then I added the letter “A” from the Picnic Chipboard Letter Stickers for the birthday girl’s name on the tag.For the second gift with the house patterned paper I used a satin ribbon in pastel blue and a string in the mustard yellow over it. I fixed the black polka dot tag on this string and made a bow. Then I decorated it with a small heart sticker from the Willow Lane Sticker Sheet. To add more dimension I glued it with a foam dot on it. To give this gift the finishing touch I added one of those gorgeous sequin flowers in pink on the top.
